T-shirt printing on your own garments
Already bought your T-shirts, vests or hoodies? Ask about our printing-only service for suitable customer-supplied garments. We work with customers in Chester and the surrounding area, with drop-off and collection at Sandycroft by arrangement.
Please contact us before bringing your clothing in. Fabric composition, colour, coatings and the garment’s construction can all affect whether a design can be applied successfully.
What we need to check
- Photographs of the garment and its care or fabric label.
- The fibre composition and garment colour.
- Quantity and sizes, including any variations.
- Your original artwork and preferred print dimensions.
- Front, back or other proposed print positions.
- The date you need the finished garments.
This helps us assess the decoration method and practical print area. Fabrics and features such as waterproof coatings, stretch, seams and zips may affect suitability.
Choose an appropriate print method
Full-colour artwork may suit DTF on compatible fabric. Names, numbers and simple lettering may suit vinyl. Sublimation needs compatible light polyester. We will advise after checking the garment rather than treating every top the same way.
Quotation before drop-off
Customer-supplied garment printing is quoted separately from our garment-and-print packages. We confirm the proposed work, suitability, print positions, artwork requirements, charges and timing before agreeing an order.
Discuss any valuable, unusual or irreplaceable garment with us first. The details and conditions for working on your supplied clothing should be agreed before it is accepted for production.

Before you order
How much does T-shirt printing cost?
The price depends on the garment, quantity, print size, artwork and the number of print positions. Send your requirements for a tailored quotation. Our hen-party page shows the current standard party package prices, including VAT.
Can I mix T-shirt sizes and colours?
Tell us the sizes and colours you need for each garment. We can quote for a mixed-size order and check garment stock. Different colours or fabrics may need different artwork treatments.
Can you print a photograph or a full-colour logo?
We can assess photographs, multicolour logos and detailed artwork for DTF printing on suitable garments. Send the best quality original file you have; we will check its resolution and suitability before the job is agreed.
